Album of the Week

This week’s Album of the Week is Don’t Be Dumb by A$AP Rocky. I chose this album because there were several songs I kept running back instead of skipping. It feels bold and intentional.

My favorite right now is 🎵Stay Here 4 Life🎵 featuring Brent Faiyaz. That song has me in a chokehold. The beat switch with the Lil Blunt sample is the best part for me. It shifts the energy smoothly and makes the track even more addictive. 

What stands out about the album overall is how it blends hip hop and trap with touches of jazz, punk, metal, indie, and R&B. It does not stay in one lane, and that is what makes it interesting. It sounds experimental but still cohesive.
